In the wake of the global pandemic, artists faced significant financial challenges as clubs and bars shut and the gig economy almost collapsed.
Determined to address the hardships that many creatives were experiencing, Segun Akano decided to draw upon his background in software development to create solutions that would empower emerging artists. Fueled by his passion for music, African child rights, and a sustainable environment, he envisioned a platform that could transform the creative landscape.
In partnership with his creative collaborator, Sean Dietz — the duo began crafting a suite of products and services designed to uplift and support artists. Together, they focused on creating programs and building tools to help creatives grow their fan base, access educational resources, and connect with their audiences through workshops, networking events, and live performances.
Since its inception, the company has gained recognition for its unique approach to artist empowerment. With a commitment to blending technology, creativity, and purpose, the team is driven to expand into a global brand, championing the creative economy and fostering resilience within the artistic community.
